Tree Removal

A homeowner typically calls about tree removal when a tree is dead, diseased, or leaning dangerously after a storm. The tree may be dropping limbs, showing cracks in the trunk, or growing too close to the house. The situation feels urgent because the tree is a real threat to people, vehicles, or the roof.

We start by assessing the tree's lean, nearby structures, and access points. For tight spaces, we use sectional dismantling: climbing the tree, cutting sections, and lowering each piece with ropes and rigging gear. In open areas, we fell the tree straight using a chainsaw and wedges. Our crew checks the wind direction and escape route before each cut.

The cost and time of removal depend on several factors: tree height and trunk diameter, how close the tree is to the house or power lines, the lean of the tree, and the condition of the wood (rotten wood can break unpredictably). Dense brush or steep terrain around the tree also adds time. Weather like high wind can delay the job.

On the day, we place plywood and tarps to protect your lawn and driveway. We cut and lower the tree in sections, then haul away all logs and branches.
